HS Musicians Succeed at Region Band

Tiger Band Marches into Area Finals!

Tiger Band was one of 7 bands competing in the Area Finals Saturday evening, Oct. 28. Although the Band did not place in the top 4 to move on to the State Contest, they had an awesome performance against many bands twice their size. The Band had competed with 17 bands in the Preliminary round of the Area contest at Robinson HS and was selected to move on to Finals. Read more...

Julie Crabb & Emiliano Garza Crowned Queen & King

Harvest Festival 2017, sponsored by Thrall Community Education Foundation (TCEF), was a great success with many fun activities! Congratulations to Class of 2025 with Julie Crabb and Emiliano Garza being crowned Queen and King of Harvest Festival 2017. Kylie Sledge Honored as Fiction Writer

THS junior, Kylie Sledge, recently won a state-wide fiction writing contest with her short story "Saltwater" and was recognized for this achievement at the Texas Teen Book Festival on Saturday, Oct. 7. Sledge received a $150 cash prize and a full review of her work from editors at Delacorte Press. Read more...

Thrall ISD AP Program Receives Grant Award

Thrall ISD is very proud to announce that it was selected as one of the 13 recipients of the 2017-2019 Expanding Access to Advanced Academics grant sponsored by TEA. This is an outstanding opportunity for the students and educators from Thrall ISD. Thrall ISD was awarded $35,000 to build its Advanced Placement program. Read more...
