School Year 2018-19 Ends for 722 TISD Students

Elementary School and its 301 students celebrated with Class of 2019 Parade, Kindergarten Graduation, Awards Program and class parties during the last few days of the school year. 
 
Middle School and its 215 students finished the school year with an Awards Program and an 8th Grade Bridging to High School Ceremony.
 
High School with its 206 students completed the school year, and 49 Class of 2019 seniors graduated on to the next chapter in their lives. During the Commencement Ceremony at Tiger Stadium memories and words of encouragement were shared by Valedictorian Emma Kramer and Salutatorian Kylie Sledge. Mrs. Beth Morrison, Tiger Band Director, also spoke to the Class of 2019 about key points for their future. A special presentation was made from the Class of 2019 to the Sheffield family establishing a $500 scholarship in memory of Jackson Sheffield.
 
Also during graduation, former School Board President, Mr. Wesley Grisham, was recognized for his many years of service as a Thrall ISD Trustee, and Tiger Spirit Awards were presented by the School Board to Ms. Korie Dutschmann, Mrs. Nicole Tindol and Mrs. Katina Walker for their effort and enthusiasm in support of our students.

School Year 2019-20 begins on Wednesday, August 21.
