Journalism & Science Teams are Regional Champs!

Thrall High School Journalism and Science teams clinched Regional Championships on April 14 in Corpus Christi and have advanced to the State Academic Meet in Austin, May 4-5. Thrall earned 3rd place overall in Conference AA Region IV which spans the state from San Saba to San Isidro and consists of 49 school districts. FCCLA Parliamentary Procedures Junior Team-1st at State!

After a successful Region V Competition in March, many Thrall FCCLA members advanced to compete at State FCCLA April 5-7 in Dallas. The Parliamentary Procedures Junior Team, consisting of Emma Burkhart, Brooke DeAngelis, Jentri Kelm, Lindsey Olsen, Kara Sledge and Kaitlyn Thelen, (all freshmen) earned 1st Place and advance next to the National FCCLA Competition in Atlanta, Georgia in June. HS One Act Play

With their performance of "This is a Test" at the BiDistrict competition on March 21, Thrall HS cast and crew were selected as the Alternate One Act Play. The following performers were also recognized individually: Trevor Hegstad-All Star Cast; Sebastian Bodiford and Kara Sledge-Honorable Mention All Star Cast; and Claire Seigmund-All Star Crew.
