Brooke De Angelis Wins Lone Star Journalism Contest!

Aspiring writer Brooke De Angelis won first place in the Lone Star Journalism Writing Contest for her feature story that was published in the Taylor Press. The Thrall High School junior's story, "Thrall Water Tower Bleeds Purple" about the community spirit tower, won the small school division and Brooke received a cash prize. The state-wide contest is co-sponsored by the Texas Press Association and the Interscholastic League Press Conference. Congratulations to Brooke!

Football Players Selected for Academic All-State Team!

Three Thrall football players were recognized for academic excellence and earned spots on the Academic All-State team. Seniors Thomas Byrd, Caden Matthew Leschber, and Cade Dodd-Tindol were honored by The Texas Army National Guard and the Texas High School Coaches Association for excelling in the following categories: GPA, class rank and ACT/SAT scores. Congratulations to these athletes!
