Generals tame Cougars, sweep Clinton CC

Plattsburgh, NY – HCCC’s baseball team made the long trip to Clinton CC and swept a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon.

The home side struck first in Game One, as the Cougars jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning. Herkimer reliever Sean Tripp then took over on the mound and held Clinton scoreless over the next four frames.

The Generals quickly worked their way back into the game and then took over the contest, winning 11-4. Tyler Hall, Luke Nethaway, John LeClair, and Justin Weakley all went 2-3 in Game One.
