Thrall High School held its Career Fair on Wednesday, Jan. 18. Different businesses and employees from around the Thrall community taught 5th grade, MS and HS students about the skills they will need to succeed in a variety of industries. Students' Art Recognized at Western Art Show

Three Thrall High School students earned top honors at Rodeo Austin's Youth Western Art Show at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum on Jan. 21. James Sebastian Bodiford, sophomore, took Grand Champion Digital Art for his rendering of a cosmic longhorn titled "Taurus". Earning third in Digital Art was sophomore Jeremy Cain's electric blue donkey, "Eeyore". In the 3D/Sculpture division, junior Wesley Strnad was named Reserve Grand Champion for his welded horse sculpture, "Malleable Mayhem". Read more...

THS Tied for 6th in Lone Star Cup Race

Honoring the best overall athletic and academic programs in Texas, the UIL Lone Star Cup is open to all UIL participant high schools, and Thrall is currently tied with several other schools for 6th place. The UIL Lone Star Cup is awarded annually to six high schools, one in each of the six UIL classifications (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A), based on their team performance in district and state championships. Outstanding Cafeteria Balance Actions

Beginning ​Tuesday, Jan. 17, any student with an outstanding Cafeteria balance ​greater than $7.00 ​will not be able to get a school breakfast and will be served an alternate school lunch. Read more...
