Principal's Message

Greetings Tigers,

Thrall High School is off and running this school year. Teaching and learning in the classroom is of the highest priority on campus, while athletics, extra & co-curricular student organizations are an added layer of support for our students.

College readiness is also one of the big areas of focus for our students. It is important to keep in mind that we are not teaching students “what” to learn, but “how” to learn. With so much technology at our young people’s fingertips, they need to be able to problem solve more than ever before in history. We are also trying to prepare them for careers that have not even been thought of yet.

I have always felt like it is our job as educators to prepare the next generation of Americans for whatever challenges lie ahead. Open minded, creative, and productive citizens with a love for learning and community is our hope for all Tigers and Tigerettes. Thank you for being a partner with us in our young people’s future.

If you are not on our email list and would like to receive a weekly edition of The Tiger Den newsletter, please send me an email with your name, your child’s name, grade level or year of graduation, and email address that you would like to receive this weekly correspondence. We look forward to another great year at Thrall High School.

It’s a great day to be a Tiger!

Travis Dube
